*Campers must be 13 years of age and older, adults welcome *Transportation to and from the airport on start and end dates will be provided for all Hotel stay clients.This is 1 - 2 hours travel each way.( self arranged and home stay must make their own arrangements) *Medical Insurance for all campers is a requirement of the registration process for those attending camp. *Instruction with horses is provided 6 days per week. There will be demonstrations, short lectures and lots of hands on experience. The days will be spent participating in the barn, rings and yard with the animals. *Side trips will be arranged for which campers must bring their own spending money and may include: Tack Store Shopping Horse Show tours and viewing ( many venues available) Tour of a Equine Vet surgery Tour of an Equine Reproduction centre Tour of a Thoroughbred Breeding Farm Visit to Fort Langley Historic Site Visit to Greater Vancouver Zoo Tour of Fort Langley, antiquing and speciality shops/spa Visit to Minter Gardens Herbal and edible plant tours

* tuition includes lunch for each student, school from 8 am - 3 pm - 6 days per week, ESL classes from 3 - 4:30 pm, campers not requiring ESL will have extra time with the horses ** Hotel is based on double occupancy, includes full breakfast and transportation to and from the hotel. For adult counsellor supervision at the hotel add $20/day/student. SPECIAL DATES: September 07 - 14 THE SPRUCE MEADOWS MASTERS TOURNAMENT Calgary, Alberta, Canada This is voted by many as the top show jumping venue in the world and the Masters Tournament is the richest show of all. Bringing the top riders from all over the world it is host to the richest Nation's Cup and Sunday's $1,500,000 CP International jumping class. Needless to say the competition is the BEST! Equine Studies Canada has decided to include a week at Spruce Meadows as their final hosted experience of the year. Group seating and accommodations will be arranged. This will be a must see for all the newly addicted equine enthusiasts. Full supervision is available for all children. Family rates available. September 07 arrival at Calgary International Airport, transfer to hotel. Evening group dinner to discuss the tour and give valuable information about the Horse Show, scoring and biographies of the attending International riders and horses. September 08 tour of the Calgary area, your choice of a side trip to Banff/Lake Louise for the day or to the Royal Tyrrell Dinosaur Museum September 09 Visit Spruce Meadows for a tour of the facility and to view the horses and riders from many countries exercising their mounts in preparation for the competition.
